This is one of my favorite gown from Mcqueen's Resort collection and Jessica Chastain pulls it off wonderfully.

Only Meryl Streep can pull off this gold and shimmery gown like this one. This gown is the first ever custom made eco-friendly design made by Lanvin. Gorgeous and eco-friendly? The best combination!

Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton

Personally, I don't love this dress on Michelle Williams. I think she looks a bit too much like a little girl, but the color is great on her and you have to give her props for wearing something so daring.

Natalie Portman in vintage Dior

I think it's very cool that is wearing vintage Dior from the 1950's, but I just don't love this dress in general. Though it looks great on Natalie Portman and she looks positively radiant.

Rooney Mara in Givenchy

I do like this Givenchy dress on Rooney Mara, though it is a bit ill-fitting, perhaps it is due to the fact that she told reporters she had chosen this dress earlier that morning. Although she strayed from her go-to black the style of this dress is very similar to the all they styles she has been wearing on the red carpet lately.

Shailene Woodley in Valentino

This makes me so sad, Shailene Woodley has the gift of youth and she can wear anything under the sun, yet she chooses to wear this Valentino dress which makes her look at least 30 years her senior. The dress on it's own is nice, but Woodley should have definitely chosen a more youthful dress for her big night.

Berenice Bejo in Elie Saab

Bernice Bejo looks lovely in this seafoam Elie Saab dress. No complaints here!

Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli

This dress is very reminiscent of the gown Nicole Kidman wore to the Oscars in 2007. I can't decide what I think, but I think overall I like, though she could have done much better.

Viola Davis in Vera Wang

Everyone seems to love this dress but I... don't? Am I allowed to say that? I think Viola Davis looks so great here but I feel like there are to many things going on with the dress.

Cameron Diaz in Gucci

Cameron Diaz looks really superb in this Gucci gown.

Milla Jovovich in Elie Saab

Milla Jovovich is the perfect modern take of the old Hollywood look.

Octavia Spencer in Tadaschi Soshi

Octavia looked absolutely delightful in this form-fitting gown. Clearly white was the color of the night.

Sandra Bullock in Marchesa

I did not like this Marchesa gown at all! It did not fit her properly and the dress itself was not much to look at.

Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford

I positively adore this custom made dress and cape (!) worn by Gwyneth Paltrow. she always knows how to pick sleek and modern pieces that show off her beauty.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I always think Taylor Swift is very safe with her clothing choices. It always seems like she is wearing the same outfit, with the same hairstyle and the same makeup.

Recently, Taylor Swift was pictured on the cover of Vogue's February and she looks different and amazing with her straight hair and bangs. Dressed in new and old pieces from the Rodarte collection, the up and coming design house designed by the Mulleavy sisters, Taylor looks like a combination of chic and rock and roll. This is a completely different look for her, but she pulls it off wonderfully.

Hope you are all enjoying this crazy action packed week. It all started with a large variety of fashion and film at the 83rd annual Academy Awards, or as they are popularly known, The Oscars.

We saw a large mix of wonderful evening gowns, some vintage looking dresses (see: Helena Bonham Carter), a pregnant winner in a plum colored dress (Natalie Portman), and the man who has his own style and arrives with his mother to the awards (Russell Brand).

But the story of the week was the Charlie Sheen drama , and his many interviews with the media. Charlie opened up a twitter account, which by the time of writing this already has over 1.2 million followers. The man, now known as an unemployed winner, has dominated the headlines and spurred many rumors to whether this meltdown is a genuinely real , or one of the greatest acts of the past 40 years. To honor Charlie Sheen and his 'winning' antics, we have decided to come up with a special name necklace to identify with his plight. We like to call it the "Charlie Sheen Tigerblood Winning Necklace of Warlocks".

Tonight is the grand ball of the Film season, as the Academy Awards are set to crown the best film, directors and actors of the last year. There were plenty of great films this year like "The Social Network", "Black Swan", "The King's Speech", and the documentary dark horse "Exit through the gift shop".

But what will be just as exciting will be seeing what the stars are wearing on the red carpet. Will any of them be sporting some weird looking dresses? Will any have some great personalized necklaces? What will Natalie Portman wear, and will we get to see it if she wins the award for best actress? Will any celebrity have some breakout style that will be the latest rage after the Oscars? Will Banksy's identity be simply revealed by him wearing a big name necklace with his name written on it, or a ironic message like "Oscar'ed Out"?

All the answers will presumably be answered tonight; except for Banksys' identity which we can surmise will still be kept under wraps.

In related film news, the girls from Sex and the city, the show that popularized the Carrie Necklace, received a Razzie award for worst actress, as well as Worst Screen Couple/Screen Ensemble, and Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel. The Razzie are traditionally handed out the night before the Oscars for the worst in this years movies.
